Presentation

EuroBlackList (EBL) is the first professional file of European payment incidents, based on the pillars of the European regulatory text which governs the processing of data in an equal manner throughout the territory of the European Union. EBL has been designed in accordance with the rules and obligations of "privacy by design ". Since the entry into force of the GDPR on 05/25/2018, EBL has been able to offer its services with unparalleled geographic coverage.

EBL enables its members to become more selective, to better prevent unscrupulous debtors. Late payments affect all sectors and hamper the economy. In addition, litigation entails significant costs to manage debt collection, often weighed down by legal costs.

EBL responds both upstream and downstream to the expectations of its members committed to a quality approach.

By democratizing the "KYC " (Know Your Customer) process, long reserved for large companies in the financial world, EBL is putting a first selective prevention filter in place. It is therefore possible to consult a European litigation file, before entering into a contract with a new client.

With its customer recovery service, EBL supports companies in their optimization of the "DSO " (Days Sales Outstanding) as well as in the reduction of working capital requirements and customer risk.

The practice of "Name and Shame " constitutes a particularly impactful and dissuasive lever of influence. In 87.37% of cases processed in 2019 all countries combined, debts were duly settled within the legal deadlines, see waiting periods granted by EBL. The risk of being listed as a bad payer for a period of 3 years undoubtedly brings about a change in behavior.
